  1. This is the Internet On A Disk.    (Source Code: Netcenter2183)

  3. It provides you with a COMPLETE INTERNET ACCOUNT at only $15/mo
  4. WITH UNLIMITED HOURLY USAGE, 24 HOURS PER DAY.  No other fees
  5. are charged.

  12. Once connected, you can download the latest version of the Netscape Browser, 
  13. You can also download all other Internet Client Programs for Windows
  14. such as Email, FTP, Telnet,etc. 
  15.  
  16. Downloading these Internet programs was made necessary because we 
  17. could not fit everything you need to create an Internet Account all 
  18. on ONE DISK.  
  19.  
  20. You will first be dialing an 800# so there is no online hourly charges
  21. ever of any kind.  Eventually, you will be given a local phone number
  22. for your daily use.  We also have a Macintosh version available and a DOS 
  23. version COMING SOON.

  25. TO INSTALL.  (Windows Version)
  26.  
  27. 1.  Insert the disk in your floppy disk drive (A or B)
  28. 2.  Click on the FILE MENU of your Windows Program Manager.
  29. 3.  Select RUN from this menu.
  30. 4.  Now type A:\SETUP (b:SETUP) and press OK
  31.  
  32. This WINDOWS INSTALL will create the WebSampler Group and 
  33. within, the NETMANAGE CUSTOM ICON.  (Dialer) and the Websurfer.
  34. (Later you can download NETSCAPE)
  35.  
  36. Next step is to click on the CUSTOM ICON and then choose CONNECT.
  37. It will dial the 800# automatically, launch the Websurfer and take     
  38. you to the REGISTRATION FORM AT OUR VILLAGE.

  40. [Before it connects, you will see a LOG WINDOW pop up with dialing
  41.   information.  In this window you will see the system coming
  42.   on and this line of info will end with something like 'ethernet:0'
  43.   THIS MEANS YOU HAVE CONNECTED.  The MENU above will also change
  44.   from CONNECT to DISCONNECT, meaning that you are connected and
  45.  to DISCONNECT to select it from the menu.]

  47. PLEASE FILL OUT THIS FORM COMPLETELY WITH NAME, ADDRESS, ETC.

  52.   You may need to change the Port Setting to COM1 or COM3 or
  53.   COM4 according to where you modem is set to.

  56.   Port.  The other settings should remain the same.]

  58. AFTER DIALING THE 800#, YOU WILL BE LOGGED ONTO THE HOST COMPUTER.

  60. Once you are logged onto the Host Computer, you will be asked for your
  61. personal information including billing information.  Be prepared to
  62. give your credit card number, expiration date, name, address etc.
  63.

  65. direct debit to your checking account.

  67. ALSO, you will need to enter a SOURCE CODE.  This is only for the
  68. first time in order to complete your SLIP/PPP Account.

  70. IMPORTANT:  You will not be able to log onto the Internet until you
  71. have given your SOURCE CODE.  This is how we are able to provide you 
  72. with a FLAT RATE Account.

  74. YOUR SOURCE CODE:  NETCENTER1001 (Either uppper or lower case OK.)

  76. Enter it at SOURCE CODE prompt to complete your account.

  78. The Disk contains:
  79.     the Dialer
  80.     TCP/IP Stack
  81.     NetManages Chamelion Web Browser
  82.     Your SOURCE CODE: NETCENTER1001

  84. Please NOTE:

  86.     After completing your Internet Registration, you will arrive at 
  87.     the Netcenter, the Center of the Internet.  From here you can find
  88.     just about anything else on the Internet.

  92. If this file should become corrupt and you are not able to get it to
  93. unzip or you experience other technical problems and you feel you should
  94. just start fresh with a new disk, you can download the disk files 
  95. at:  ftp.netcenter.com  cd/pub/vendor/lighthouse and download 
  96. 'flatrate.zip'.  You will need PKUNZIP to uncompress this file.  If you
  97. don't already have a copy of PKUNZIP, you can also download this from
  98. the same directory.

  100. If you want to distribute this disk and earn a monthly royalty, SEE
  101. SYSOP.DOC

  103. If you already have an Internet Account, you do not need our dialing
  104. disk.  You can SIMPLY REGISTER BY TELNET.  or YOU CAN JUST POINT
  105. YOUR WEB BROWSER TO NETCENTER.COM and follow the Netcenter Navigator
  106. to download 'flatrate.zip'
  107.  
  108. TO DO THIS, point your TELNET client to:  'VILLAGE.YOURVOICEVILLAGE.COM'
  109. Then, just fill out the Registration form as Above.
